Studio Tour

WOOD ROOM:

We often use this room for loud, raw drum sounds with the kit either in the room or in the main live room and microphones placed in the wood room to capture the natural reverberations.

As well as a natural reverb chamber for all types of instruments, it's also frequently used to record percussion, handclaps, group vocals, strings and pieces of scrap metal being smashed to pieces by a group of screaming men, soon to be heard on And So I Watch You From Afar's debut album.

LIVE ROOM:

As well as housing our EMT plate reverb, piano and amplifiers this is where we record the majority of the performances.

A controlled room, its characteristics can be changed with various gobos and the adjustment of dampening drapes above the musicians. It opens into the wood room on one side and a brick hall way and three story concrete stairwell on the other. All offer incredible and unique natural reverberation and/or echo.

CONTROL ROOM:

A really good sized and comfortable, relaxed room. It's always filled with synthesizers, organs, guitars and effects. It opens onto a brick recording room used for live sounding drum recordings and doubling up as a store for our many instruments.
